Hot Melt vs White (PVA) Glue for Rigid Boxes

They behave differently. Water-based glues are applied as a liquid, and excess glue adds moisture that can warp board (LD Davis, on gelatin glue); PVA also has a minimum application temperature on its TDS. Hot melt sets by cooling, so it is sensitive to cold substrates and drafts, and its heated tank needs maintenance to prevent char. How this relates to Zhishang machines: We build both lines. Cold-glue models (e.g. ZS-S088E-4, ZS-S088C, ZS-S088D) "can dispense white glue, yellow glue and all-purpose glue". Hot-glue models (e.g. ZS-S088R-4, ZS-S088D-4) "can dispense hot melt and pressure-sensitive adhesive"; the brochure says the three-axis cabinet hot-glue model "can replace double-sided tape, saving the labor and time of peeling release paper."
